Friday Forecast
Hello Kindergarten Families,
It was a busy week in Kindergarten! We worked on the letter R as well as reviewing our other "frog jump" capitals.
Week Ahead
Next week we will take another look at our snowflakes in the jar, and see what happened to them over the weekend! We will work on the last two "frog jump" capitals, M and N. We will also continue to work on patterns, and will be working on extending patterns with hands on materials. During read alouds we will continue to talk about making connections between ourselves and what we are reading.
Reminders
1.) Next Friday January 18th there is no school, PD day!
2.) We are still looking for volunteers for Scientists in School on January 31st in both AM & PM. Please email me ASAP if you are cleared at the office and are available to come!
3.) A notice is coming home today regarding a community dance happening on the 26th - please check home folders!
4.) Friday January 25th will be AM Kindergarten

It was a busy week in Kindergarten! We worked on the letter R as well as reviewing our other "frog jump" capitals.
This week we also reviewed patterns, and talked about AB patterns as well as ABC patterns. Here is a visual to illustrate what an AB pattern is. We won't be talking about all of these patterns, but it's a good example of what "AB" pattern etc. means!
