December 10th
Hello All!
Today was a busy day in Kindergarten. We are starting to talk about Winter, snow and snowflakes. We read the book "Snowflake Bentley" and learned that snowflakes look very beautiful up close, and no two snowflakes ever look alike! We hope to learn more about snowflakes throughout the week. Tomorrow we will be going outside to investigate the snow on the school grounds, so please ensure your child is dressed for the weather!

Today we also worked on cutting. We had a visit from our Occupational Therapist, who taught us 8 tips for cutting.
The tips include keep your thumb up, cut away from you, keep your elbows down, don't close the scissors all the way when cutting, and use your "helper hand" to move the paper!
We practiced cutting out circles and squares, and created some art using the shapes.
Our "cutting creations" are coming home today, please check backpacks :)
