September 19th
Hello all!
Yesterday we had a wonderful time in both classes on our "Fall walk." We noticed the way the trees and shrubs were looking outside, and how the leaves are starting to change colours and fall off. As we walked we collected leaves and signs of nature, so that we could bring them back into the classroom to investigate. We are then drew pictures of the leaves we found so that we could create our own Fall tree in the classroom!
Today we also practiced writing in our writing books, and tried writing the word "Fall." We are continuing to practice writing our names, and also drew pictures showing our favorite things to do in the Fall! Many of us love to jump in the leaves!
Reminders
1.) Tomorrow and Friday are Parent Conferences! Thursday times are 3:20-8pm and Friday is from 8am - 12pm. Please contact the office if you need help booking a time for conferences (403-777-6150.)
Teachers will also be available 12pm - 1pm on Friday for a "drop in" time in case you are unable to book!
2.) Terry Fox run is on September 24th!
