October 18th
Hello all!
Today was a very exciting day in Kindergarten, we had two special visits! In the AM class, we watched a presentation about how to put on and take off winter gear. In the PM class, we had a visit from the School Nurse, who gave us a special presentation on hand washing. We put "germ" powder on our hands to test our handwashing skills. After we washed our hands, we looked at them under a blacklight to see how good of a job we were doing to wash away germs!
Yesterday we worked on a some owl art that is coming home today! Please check home folders. This activity is directly linked to the EYE assessment - as we are looking at cutting and colouring skills. The home folders will also contain the handouts about the EYE that were linked in the last blog post (for the PM students, AM will get it tomorrow!)

2.) Tomorrow October 19th is AM Kindergarten only! We will see PM again on Monday!
3.) AM Kindergarten will visit the library tomorrow, please send library books if you haven't already :)
4.) Tomorrow is the second session of CAD (community activity day!)

Ask your AM Kindie, what winter clothing goes on last? First?
Ask your PM Kindie, what song do we sing while we wash our hands?
