October 24th
Hello all!
This week in Kindergarten we have been working on comparing objects and sets to determine which is bigger/smaller. We have been looking at some pumpkins in our classroom, and today the Kindergarten students were asked a big question, "which pumpkin do you think has the most seeds?" We tallied our results in both classes, and here are our thoughts so far:
We have also been working on comparing the pumpkins to different things, such as blocks, to estimate their sizes.
Next week we will open up the pumpkins, and work on counting the seeds to determine the answer!
Reminders
1.) No school this Friday October 26th (PD Day)
2.) Both AM and PM Kindergarten students will go to the library tomorrow! Please check at home for library books!
3.) A kind reminder - please do not have your student bring or chew gum to school!
See you tomorrow!
