November 13th
Hello all!
We have been working hard for the past two days in Kindergarten. On Monday we worked on our first Math word problem using more, fewer and less. It looked like this:
Students used white boards to record their answers, either by writing the word or drawing a picture. If students were able to get the first questions, they were also asked, "can you draw a picture of an animal that has even more leaves?"
We discussed how if we compared how many the dog and cat had, the dog actually only had one more than the cat, not four! We will continue to work on Math problems this week to extend our thinking!
