Here is a message regarding the performance:
On Wednesday December 19th we will be presenting our winter musical, “PRESS START” and we would love to have you join us for either the dress rehearsal at 1:00 PM or the performance at 6:30 PM. Our students, staff and parent council have been working their tails off to put together an extravaganza that’s a feast for the eyes and the ears. Please join us on Wednesday, Dec 19th(1:00 or 6:30) to see what we have put together. The dress rehearsal might be a great option for those that have other concerts to go to that evening or have other commitments.
Press Start is a musical that is based on the “lives” of popular video game characters as they discover their purpose and how we are all heroes at heart. The musical features such toe-tappers as “Press Start”, “Heroes in this World” and the rocking finale, “The Final Level”!
Information about tickets will be coming out tomorrow! (Tickets will not cost money, they are just a way to keep track of numbers! :) )

Caroling Next Week
Next week we will also be caroling in the gym to celebrate the upcoming holidays. Family members are welcome to join the festivities! Here at the times:
Monday 17th, Wednesday 19th & Friday 21st - 8:15 am
Tuesday 18th & Thursday 20th - 12:45 pm
Each caroling session will be about 20-30 minutes. Please check out our music teacher's blog (Mrs. Andrews) for more info!
Classroom
In both classes today we continued to work on our strategy "I see, I think, I wonder." We looked at the cover of the story "The Hat" today, and students used this strategy to guess what the story would be about.
Tomorrow we will be working on patterns again in Math, and will take some time to create backgrounds for our mitten art!
Reminders
1.) Please send in a costume/t-shirt if you haven't already!
2.) Tomorrow (Thursday December 13th) the AM class will be visiting the library. Please send library books if you have one at home!
3.) Friday, December 14th is PM Kindergarten & the first session of our second round of CAD!
