April 25th
Hello all!
Thank you to everyone who participated in Athletic Wear day yesterday! We have been busy in Kindergarten working on putting our "shape books" together, as well as investigating our next Science topic, "animal homes."
Yesterday we assembled our shape books and added a front cover! We still have some work to do with them, but they will be coming home soon :)
Today we read the book "A House for Hermit Crab." We talked about our upcoming trip to Butterfield Acres, and how different animals live in different homes.

We then worked on creating some artwork that will lead us to learn more about animal homes. We used the bark rubbing papers and pastel sheets we created way back before Spring Break, to make some tree landscapes!
Our next step will be to add some animals that live in the trees....
Reminders
1.) Tomorrow is PM Kindergarten!
2.) AM students visited the library today - and PM students will go tomorrow! PM students please bring back library books if you haven't already :)
3.) Next Friday May 3rd is our AM trip to Butterfield Acres - please send back field trip forms by next Tuesday April 30th!
