April 4th & Spring Concert

Hello all!

We've been busy practicing for our upcoming Spring Concert on April 17th this week! Students are working on singing two songs, which are linked below. Please feel free to practice the songs at home if you have a free moment!


A notice for the Spring Concert is coming home today (for AM) and will go home tomorrow for PM. Please also check under "Reminders" for the info!

Yesterday we also introduced 3D shapes. We talked about these 6 shapes:

We also worked on an activity to familiarize ourselves with the shapes. We tested each shape to see if it would roll, slide or stack. As we tested, we recorded our findings on a sheet.

Reminders

1.) Tomorrow is PM Kindergarten! We will also make time to go outside for gym tomorrow again, so please dress accordingly!

Dear Families and Guardians,

We are excited to present to you our Spring Concert, The Wonder in the Work.  On Wednesday, April 17^th at 6:30 pm, come celebrate the work we have been doing in our classes.  Each grade has been busy preparing a multi-media presentation involving music, movement and visuals to represent the wonder of the learning taking place in our classrooms.  There will be a dress rehearsal in the afternoon of the 17^th at 1:00 pm that families are also welcome to attend.  Please drop your child off at the doors by the playground at 6:00 pm.  The front doors will open at 6:15 pm for parents. We hope you are able to join us to celebrate the wonders of our work and the wonders that our students are. 

3.) We are also still looking for volunteers for the May 10th PM class trip to Butterfield acres. Please let me know if you have volunteer clearance and are interested in joining us!
