Friday Forecast

Hello all!

It's been another wonderful week in Kindergarten - can you believe there's only one week and a half left of Kindergarten!?!?

This week we made a special art project for Father's Day. Students used sharpies to create coasters for an important person in their life - we talked about how some families celebrate their dad, or a grandpa, or an uncle...every family is different! All of their coasters turned out beautifully.

Throughout the week we continued to work on our animal research projects. This has sparked a lot of interest in animal homes and our surrounding environment. We took advantage of the beautiful weather this week and took time to search our naturalization area for some animal homes.

We also had a student who was able to discover an interesting insect that she brought to share! We had a lot of fun taking a look at the little guy, and discussing some of the insects that are popping up now that it's Spring.

If any one else has an interesting piece of of nature, or animal home, feel free to bring it in to share!
