Hello all!
Today our afternoon class did their "mini" Terry Fox run, thank you to the grade 5 & 6s for help leading us on our outside run!
Both the morning and afternoon class discussed Terry Fox today, and why we honour him each year with the Terry Fox run. We talked about how Terry Fox was sick with cancer, and how he was a hero because he decided to run across Canada to raise money to find a cure for cancer. In both classes, we talked about heroes, and students were asked who their own heroes are.
Reminders
1.) The school wide Terry Fox run is this Friday September 27th, 8:30 to 9:00. Parents/Guardians are welcome to attend! This Friday is AM Kindergarten.
2.) Please send back library books!
3.) Please check home folders for information on ordering school photos.
