October 8th
Hello all!
We've been busy as usual in the Kindergarten room so far this week! Today we worked on our first Math problem in our visual journals. We revisited what we have been discussing about patterns so far, and talked about extending patterns. Students were given some stickys to put in their books with a picture of a pattern, and were asked to finish the pattern to solve the problem.
Reminders
1.) This Thursday we will be going outside! We will be exploring nature and going on a short walk around the school grounds.
2.) We will also be going to the library on Thursday - please send library books back ASAP
3.) No school this Friday October 11th, or Monday October 14th
4.) A heads up that next Wednesday October 16th is our second spirit day, which is "Retro Day." Please feel free to send your student dressed up in any attire that could be considered "retro," such as clothing from the 70s or 80s, (dare I say we consider the 90s retro??) etc.!
