Hello all!
Today was a super fun day - we worked on a fun "STEAM" challenge with Ms. S. STEAM is Science Technology Engineering Art and Math. We talked about different kinds of towers we see in our world, and what they look like. Students were then challenged to build their own tower out of blocks and other materials in the classroom. After building, they were asked to draw their towers in their books.

This activity was great for students because we talked about mathematical concepts like shape and space, and measurement. Students also worked on art concepts by drawing their structures and identifying shapes in their towers. We will continue to build on this activity in the coming weeks!
