Hello Kindergarten Families,
We had a ton of fun this week in Kindergarten - thank you to all who participated in our spirit week dress up days, and to those who attended our caroling days!
This week we worked on the letter K in writing, our second "corner capital."
We also started to discuss our next Math topic in greater detail - which is shape and space. We have integrated some shape centers into our literacy centers to start practicing building shapes.
On Wednesday and Thursday, we also created some shape mittens. Students were asked to draw all of the shapes they know - we hope to learn a lot more in the coming weeks after the break!
I wish all of you a wonderful and relaxing Winter Break! School will resume on Monday January 6th - see you all in the New Year!
