Hello all!
Today we started a new topic in Social Studies. We started to think about the topic of "community." We started of by reading this book:
We then had a discussion in both classes about some of the places we have been to that were in the book! We talked about how a community is a place or thing that brings people together. Students then recorded their ides about what they find in a community in their visual journals.
We will continue to explore this topic in the coming weeks!
Reminders
1.) Report cards are coming home tomorrow for AM students. PM will be coming home Friday. Please check home folders! If you have any questions or concerns about your child's report card - please do not hesitate to contact me.
2.) AM will visit the library tomorrow - please send library books back!
3.) This Friday January 24th is PM Kindergarten
