February 5th
Hello all!
We have started a new art project in the Kindergarten room over the past few days! With Valentine's day coming up, we have been inspired by hearts popping up all over the place, and have started to create some beautiful heart and shape inspired art.
Yesterday and today we read some heart books:
We started our art by cutting some heart shapes out of cardstock. This was tough work because the paper was so thick, but we persevered! Today we worked on gluing and sticking on foam shapes to represent what was in our hearts. This was a super fun part! Our next steps will be to cover these with tin foil to create a metallic like effect - stay tuned for the final project!
