Friday Forecast
Hello All,
It's been another busy week in Kindergarten! This week in Math we continued to look at "more than" and "less than." Students have been working on comparing numbers between 1-10 by using unifix cubes. On Wednesday we worked on comparing stacks of cubes in our visual journals.
Today was a fun day as well, we worked on some Winter snowy art because Calgary seems to have decided it's Winter again!
Reminders
1.) Parent Conferences have been cancelled next week. Please see the CBE email that was sent out last night. Currently, we are not sure when or if they will be rescheduled. However, if you have questions or concerns about your child's learning, please do not hesitate to contact me!
Also, a reminder that we are working hard to ensure the school is clean and safe for students! We have reviewed hand washing and coughing techniques. Please continue to visit the CBE website for ongoing updates.
2.) Next Friday March 20th there is no school - what was parent conferences will now be a PD day
3.) Spring Break is March 23rd - 29th, school will resume Monday March 30th.
4.) Next Wednesday March 18th is our March Sprit Day, "non dominant hand day." Students can dress themselves with their non dominant hand, or try buttoning up a shirt with their non-dominant hand etc.
